About the Role This posting relates to Thurgood Marshall College Fund's Anniversary Gala, the organization’s largest fundraising event that convenes corporate executives, government officials and philanthropists to support HBCUs and student opportunity. The role centers on sponsorship and partnership opportunities to advance access, opportunity and economic mobility for TMCF scholars. What You'll Do
- Support sponsorship and fundraising initiatives for the Anniversary Gala
- Engage potential corporate sponsors and manage sponsor benefits
- Collaborate with event organizers and stakeholders to ensure sponsor visibility at the black-tie gala
- Coordinate communications, tickets, donations, and sponsorship payments What We're Looking For
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising, sponsorships, or corporate partnerships
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work with high-profile attendees and executives
- Passion for education and supporting HBCUs Nice to Have
- Prior experience with large gala events or fundraising events
- Knowledge of Thurgood Marshall College Fund and HBCUs Compensation & Benefits
