About the Role We are seeking a Furnace Product Specialist to support and promote our Small Heat Treat Furnace product line. This role focuses on explaining specifications, configurations, and application use for R&D and small-batch production environments. What You'll Do
- Describe furnace specifications: 0.3 cubic foot usable hot zone, maximum 2200 °C (4000 °F), and a 4" x 6" x 8" usable volume.
- Discuss options: hydrogen wetting system with dew-point control, a 6" diffusion pumping system, optional diffusion or turbo pumping, and tungsten mesh heating elements.
- Highlight control capabilities: full control from the unit’s control panel and an optional PC control package that provides data trends/storage, alarm logging, unlimited recipe profiles, and user security.
- Support atmosphere configurations: hydrogen, inert gas, or vacuum, with rough vacuum system and optional higher-vacuum pumping.
- Position this furnace as suitable for both R&D and small-batch production. What We're Looking For
- Understanding of high-temperature furnaces and vacuum/pumping systems.
- Familiarity with heat-treatment atmospheres (hydrogen, inert gases, vacuum).
- Experience or interest in PC-based control, data acquisition, and recipe management.
- Strong communication skills to articulate product features to customers and engineering teams. Nice to Have
- Experience with dewpoint-controlled hydrogen wetting systems.
- Knowledge of diffusion and turbo pumping configurations.
- Background in R&D or small-scale production environments.
