Job title: Furnace Operator - 2nd Shift
About the Role A growing Goffstown, NH company is seeking a Furnace Operator to support heat-treat operations on 2nd shift. The role offers clear upward mobility and hands-on work with machinery.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload setups, perform breakdowns, and operate equipment according to instructions
- Perform routine equipment maintenance
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required
- Complete paperwork
- Follow all safety and housekeeping standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of mechanical practices and ability to make minor adjustments to equipment
- Experience/knowledge in a manufacturing setting and operating equipment (preferred)
- Basic understanding of the heat treat process, 5S, safety, and quality policies
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout shift
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required
Nice to Have
- Hands-on, tinkering mindset; comfortable working with machinery
- Experience with heat-treat or furnace operations (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $20-$21 per hour, depending on experience
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm
