本ポジションの概要

本ポジションは、自動運転システムにおけるFunction Owner（機能責任者）として、担当機能の開発をVモデル全体で主導・推進します。

システム要求の策定から設計、検証、性能評価まで一貫して担当し、Hardware、Software、Validationチームと連携しながら、担当機能の品質・性能・納期に責任を持つポジションです。

また、顧客との技術ディスカッションやテストドライブにも参加し、日本と海外の開発チームをつなぐ技術面での牽引役（オーナシップを持つ存在）として活躍いただきます。

必須

• Function OWnerの経験：3年以上 ※技術力を重視します
• ADASのFunctionを理解している方（要求を理解し、Requirementを書く、ADASに関する社内仕様を作る、評価結果する）
• パーキングシステム or ナビゲーション or レーダー or ECU開発に関する経験・知識
• 日本語：ビジネスレベル
• 英語：ビジネスレベル以上

Divisions and Products Valeo Japan consists of four divisions:

1）Power Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.

2）Brain Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS adoption and reinvent the interior experience.

3）Light Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions driving "Lighting Everywhere."

4）Valeo Service Division: Handles after-sales services for all products across Divisions 1 to 3.

This position belongs to the BRAIN Division.

Position Overview In this role, as a Function Owner for Autonomous Driving Systems, you will drive and promote the development of assigned functions across the entire V-Model.

You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery from defining system requirements to design, verification, and performance evaluation and will be accountable for the quality, performance, and delivery timelines of your assigned functions in collaboration with the Hardware, Software, and Validation teams.

Also, you will participate in technical discussions and test drives with customers, serving as a technical driving force (a key player with ownership) bridging the development teams in Japan and overseas.

Requirements

• Experience as a Function Owner: 3+ years (*Technical expertise is highly emphasized).

• Deep understanding of ADAS functions (ability to comprehend requirements, write requirement specifications, create internal ADAS specifications, and evaluate test results).

• Experience/knowledge related to parking systems, navigation systems, radar, or ECU development.

• Japanese: Business level.

• English: Business level or higher.
