Job title: Full-Time Tenure-Track Faculty Position, Division of Psychology
California Baptist University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position in the Division of Psychology. The primary duties include teaching 24 units for the academic year, research/scholarship, and service to the community. The appointment will begin August 2026.
Teach 24 units for the academic year and contribute to the Master of Science in Counseling Psychology program. Actively engage in research and/or scholarship and contribute to the community through service. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
A master’s degree in psychology or a related field, with a background in clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling. An active professional license in California (e.g., MFT, professional clinical counseling, or psychology). Doctoral degree (PhD, DMFT, PsyD) in marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field is preferred. Teaching experience and a history of quality teaching; readiness for tenure-track responsibilities; ability to engage in research or scholarship; and strong relational skills.
Preference will be given to applicants with a history of quality teaching, notable scholarship, and demonstrated relational skills.
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 annually. In addition to wages, California Baptist University offers a robust suite of employee benefits.
