About the Role Rutgers University Correctional Healthcare is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (Medical) to provide total patient care at Garden State Youth Correctional Facility in Yardville, NJ, in accordance with professional nursing standards and focused on the individualized needs of assigned patients and their families. What You'll Do
- Skillfully administer total patient care based on the individualized needs of assigned patients and families, in accordance with professional nursing standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans and ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient status, care provided, and responses to treatments; maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Ensure safety and compliance within the correctional health care setting and facility routines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and facility staff to support care delivery.
