About the Role Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (Medical) at Garden State Youth Correctional Facility in Yardville, NJ. The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse position is to, in accordance with professional nursing standards, skillfully administer total patient care based on the individualized needs of assigned patients and families within a correctional setting. What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care as part of the clinical nursing team in a correctional facility.
- Administer medications and monitor patient status under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Document care in the electronic medical records (EMR) system and communicate updates to the care team. What We're Looking For
- Current New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Knowledge of professional nursing standards and ability to apply them in a correctional health care environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with health care professionals and security personnel.
