About the Role Western National Parks (WNP), a nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, is seeking a Full-Time Information Technology (IT) Coordinator to maintain and support the organization's technology, including servers, software, and desktop hardware, and to provide day-to-day IT solutions. This hybrid role is based in Oro Valley, AZ, with some travel as needed. What You'll Do

  • Ensure data security and oversee troubleshooting, system backups, archiving, and disaster recovery.
  • Perform network administration tasks including installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of LAN/WAN/wireless architecture and related services.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; integrate systems across multiple software platforms; maintain inventory of hardware and software.
  • Define, document, and apply IT procedures and best practices; provide orientation and training for staff; communicate work order status; maintain repair/maintenance logs.
  • Make technology recommendations aligned with organizational priorities; manage crisis situations; support Windows and Mac OS; administer telecommunications (cell phones, IP phones, internet).
  • Stay up-to-date with technology; respond to support calls as needed; other duties as assigned by supervisor. What We're Looking For
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years IT experience; Valid REAL ID driver's license.
  • Knowledge of server virtualization, network/email/database/server/hardware/software administration; mobile devices management; strong planning, organization, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Diplomatic and effective communication with internal staff, board, donors, and public; ability to interpret instructions; independent judgment; customer service; able to work independently and as part of a team; able to pass background screening. Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
