About the Role Montreat College seeks a full-time faculty member in the Faculty of Technology and Human Industry to join its Christ-centered undergraduate program focused on data, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. This role supports the college’s CAE-CD designation and Carolina Cyber Center initiatives, contributing to innovative cyber education for Western North Carolina and beyond. What You'll Do
- Teach major courses in data, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence in alignment with evolving program requirements and industry needs.
- Lead students in data, information security, and AI research (desired).
- Advise students and participate in faculty committees.
- Perform other duties as described in the Faculty Handbook. What We're Looking For
- An earned master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security/Assurance or Cybersecurity, with related industry experience; graduate coursework in data analytics/data science.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrating faith and the discipline; support for Christian liberal arts education; teaching excellence and service.
- Preferred: Doctorate or ABD status; college-level teaching experience; professional experience and industry certifications in Advanced Data and Information Security (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM). Nice to Have
