Job title: Full-time Faculty, Department of Fine Arts
What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate studio art courses across multiple media (e.g., drawing, painting, design, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, or related areas) based on faculty expertise and departmental needs.
- Teach undergraduate art history courses appropriate to the curriculum.
- Teach Methods and Materials courses for art education majors.
- Teach general education art appreciation courses.
- Supervise and mentor art education interns in accordance with state licensure and institutional standards.
- Advise and mentor visual arts and art education students academically, artistically, and professionally.
- Participate in departmental planning, assessment, student recruitment, exhibitions, and university service.
- Additional Responsibilities (as qualifications allow): Assist with gallery exhibitions, student shows, or community engagement initiatives; Contribute to curriculum development and assessment for studio art and art education programs; Sponsor or advise student organizations related to visual arts or art education.
