About the Role Alstom is seeking a full-time EHS Officer in Bangkok to lead a safe and compliant work environment across site operations. You’ll apply health and safety expertise on-site, conducting inspections, advising personnel, investigating incidents, and implementing preventive measures. This role is on-site with hours 13:00-22:00, Tuesday to Saturday.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including taking photographs when required.
- Provide support and advice to site personnel to minimize safety risks and ensure safe operations.
- Investigate causes of injuries, illnesses, or disturbances and report findings with actionable recommendations.
- Assess the appropriateness of protective equipment and ensure employees have the necessary tools to work safely.
- Recognize and promote best practices and good performance in safety.
- React to violations of regulations or Alstom standards and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in accident and complaint investigations.
- Undertake general tasks as assigned by top management.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Knowledge of incident investigation and risk assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with safety equipment and workplace safety protocols.
- NEBOSH or OSHA certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and produce actionable safety reports.
