About the Role Bushnell University’s School of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Open Rank faculty member to teach primarily in the Accelerated BSN (ABSN) pre-licensure program. The position is on campus with a negotiable start date and will involve developing, implementing, and evaluating the accelerated BSN curriculum, teaching in the ABSN program as well as online RN-to-BSN courses as assigned, and collaborating with nursing and university colleagues to deliver high-quality education. What You'll Do
- Collaborate within the Accelerated Baccalaureate pre-licensure nursing program to deliver a highly integrated curriculum.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the accelerated BSN curriculum; deliver current content in clinical, skills lab, simulation, and didactic nursing theory courses as assigned.
- Teach full-time, primarily in the ABSN pre-licensure program and online RN-to-BSN courses as assigned.
- Supervise student clinical experiences in long-term care, acute care, specialty care areas, and community health, ensuring patient safety and educational outcomes.
- Engage with students to provide a meaningful presence in their clinical learning and in achieving course outcomes in collaboration with facility primary nurses.
- Work collaboratively with the Dean of Nursing, Director of Nursing, and other nursing faculty, and with University faculty across campus to deliver high-quality education.
- Promote the Accelerated BSN and other nursing programs in the community, to Bushnell students, and at on-campus/off-campus events.
- Support the missions of Bushnell University and the School of Nursing.
