Full Stack Team Lead - AI team R&D

About the Role As a Full Stack Team Lead on the AI Team at Cyera, you'll lead, mentor, and grow a talented team of engineers while staying hands-on in building the AI experiences that power our platform end-to-end. You’ll help shape how AI capabilities are embedded across the Cyera platform and turn complex workflows into intuitive, autonomous experiences for customers. What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers, providing technical guidance, architectural direction, and support to ensure successful delivery.
• Design, build, and ship production-grade AI agents, including agent workflows, tool integrations, orchestration, memory, and safe execution capabilities, enabling users to reason over Cyera's data and take action with confidence.
• Work with massive-scale datasets. Our customers manage petabytes of cloud assets and sensitive data, and you'll build systems that extract insights and deliver them through AI, APIs, and intuitive user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to shape product direction, with UI/UX designers to craft exceptional AI-powered experiences, and with engineering teams across the company to integrate AI capabilities throughout the platform.
• Continuously improve performance, reliability, developer productivity, and the quality of our AI systems while maintaining a high engineering bar.
• Deliver meaningful customer value quickly without compromising quality. What We're Looking For
• 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications is a strong advantage, including practical experience with agent frameworks, tool use, orchestration, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), memory, guardrails, evaluation, or similar production AI capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and strong expertise in React, Vue.js, or a similar frontend framework.
• Backend expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, Java, Scala, Python, Ruby, .NET, or similar technologies, with the ability and willingness to learn new ones.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and drive architectural decisions.
• Strong product and customer orientation, with a passion for building solutions that create real customer value.
