Job title: Full-Stack Software Engineer
About the Role We are looking for experienced full-stack software engineers who are passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. This role will be responsible for writing code, pairing with other developers as appropriate, decomposing acceptance criteria to understand team backlog deliverables, complexities, and risk, while working as a strong contributor on an agile team. The Software Engineer will own full-stack coding and implementation, adhere to best practice principles including modern cloud-based software development, agile and scrum, code quality, and tooling, and work to understand and influence software architecture.
What You'll Do
- Write code and pair with other developers as appropriate, decomposing acceptance criteria to understand backlog deliverables, complexities, and risk on an agile team.
- Own full-stack coding and implementation, following best practices in modern cloud-native development, CI/CD, code quality, and tooling.
- Understand and influence software architecture while contributing to the technical user base.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of proven software development experience, specializing in Java, JavaScript (React), Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Deep knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures and OO principles using Java.
- Practical experience with AI tools to enhance development workflows.
- Proficiency in microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with service-oriented and microservices architectures, REST and GraphQL.
- Full stack proficiency across front-end (React, HTML5, CSS) and back-end (Java, Python) with API development and RESTful APIs.
- CI/CD and DevOps experience with Maven/Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, OpenShift; AWS is a significant advantage.
- Agile methodologies and tools; testing automation for unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; version control.
Nice to Have
- AWS experience is considered a significant advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $60,000 to $135,000 USD per year.
