About the Role Databricks is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to help data teams solve complex problems by delivering robust, scalable, and delightful products. You will collaborate with product management to cover the full product lifecycle—from loading data and visualizing results to creating statistical models and deploying production artifacts—while keeping a strong focus on user experience.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with product management and teammates to deliver end-to-end features for data loading, visualization, and production deployment.
- Build simple workflows to create, configure, and manage large-scale compute clusters, networks, and data sources.
- Create, deploy, test, and upgrade complex data pipelines with powerful visualization features.
- Enable seamless onboarding and management for all members of an organization to become data-driven.
- Provide a great SQL-centric data exploration and dashboarding experience on Databricks.
- Create an interactive environment for collaborative data projects at massive scale with a clear path to production.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Passion for user experience and front-end design; deep understanding of front-end architecture.
- Comfortable working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables; motivated by delivering customer value.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js/Ember).
- 5+ years of experience with server-side web technologies (Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go).
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
Compensation & Benefits
- Local Pay Range: $166,000—$225,000 USD.
- The total compensation package may include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Compensation may vary based on job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications and training, and location.
