Full Stack .NET Developer

Location: Western Chicago (suburbs)

Schedule: Onsite initially; hybrid schedule after six months with two remote days per week

Role Type: Full-Time

Salary: $110,000-$130,000

The Planet Group has partnered with a Greater Chicago Area company to locate a Full Stack .NET Developer to join a small, collaborative development team supporting a well-established manufacturing business. You'll work on internal and customer-facing web applications, with an initial emphasis on backend development and data processing.

This is a hands-on role for someone who likes owning solutions from development through testing and production support. The team is small, so you'll have room to contribute ideas, learn the business, and see the impact of your work.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance web applications using C# and .NET.
• Develop and maintain APIs, data integrations, and SQL-based solutions.
• Work across the application stack, including frontend features and backend data processing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver fixes through testing and deployment.
• Partner with the team to design practical, end-to-end solutions for business and customer needs.

Requirements

• Roughly 3-5 years of hands-on C# full stack development experience.

• Strong SQL skills and experience building or integrating APIs.

• Experience supporting production applications and testing your own work.

• Comfort working on a small team where developers take ownership across the application lifecycle.

• Entity Framework experience is preferred.

• Experience with application security, compliance, or data encryption is a plus.

• Manufacturing experience is preferred; financial applications experience is also relevant.
