Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join an innovative startup company in Ikeja, Lagos.

This is a unique opportunity to be the first technical hire and play a critical role in shaping the company's technological direction and product development. You will be responsible for architecting and building high-quality web and mobile applications from the ground up.

Your responsibilities will include designing scalable database schemas, setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure using Vercel, AWS, and GCP, and integrating AI services. You will also prototype user interfaces, work closely with the product team, implement internationalization, and establish engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-quality web and mobile applications using modern frameworks.
• Design, implement, and evolve scalable database schemas for consumer-facing e-commerce and content apps.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and serverless cloud infrastructure using Vercel, AWS, and GCP.
• Integrate and experiment with AI services, including OpenAI, function calling, and multimodal APIs.
• Prototype modern, interactive user interfaces optimised for desktop and mobile.
• Work closely with the product team to convert prototypes and concepts into high-quality software.
• Implement internationalisation (i18N).
• Establish engineering standards and mentor future hires as the engineering team grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience shipping production JavaScript/TypeScript code, with deep experience in React/Next.js or similar.

• Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals and modern web architecture patterns.

• Demonstrated cloud infrastructure skills, including IaC, serverless functions, logging, and monitoring.

• Experience with relational and/or document databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• Track record of integrating third-party APIs, especially LLM or generative media services.

• Can-do mindset with a bias toward shipping, measuring, and rapidly iterating.
