Role Purpose

The Full-Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting web-based applications across both front-end and back-end environments. The successful candidate will work on API integrations, cloud-hosted solutions, document management systems, and secure enterprise applications while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications.

• Build intuitive front-end user interfaces and scalable back-end services.

• Develop robust and reusable code following industry best practices.

• Optimise applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.

• API Integration & Systems Development

• Design and implement secure API integrations with third-party platforms.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and webhook integrations.

• Integrate external services and business applications to streamline processes.

• Document Management Solutions (DMS)

• Develop, support, and enhance document management solutions.

• Configure and maintain document storage, indexing, version control, and retrieval processes.

• Support OCR and digital document workflow implementations.

• Cloud Hosting & DevOps

• Deploy and manage applications within cloud environments.

• Configure servers, hosting platforms, and deployment pipelines.

• Monitor application performance and ensure system availability.

• Security & Compliance

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Apply security best practices, including SSL/TLS and OAuth protocols.

• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities and performance issues.

• Technical Support & Documentation

• Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure-related issues.

• Maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, APIs, and workflows.

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and recommend technical solutions.

• Minimum Requirements

• Qualifications

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12).

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field advantageous.

• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or development frameworks will be beneficial.

• Experience

• 3-5 years' professional experience as a Full-Stack Developer.

• Proven experience developing and maintaining commercial web applications.

• Demonstrated experience working across the full software development lifecycle.

• Experience managing projects from design through deployment and support.

• Portfolio, GitHub repository, or examples of previous development projects preferred.
