Full-stack Developer

About the Role Join light-it as a Full-stack Developer to build, review, and refactor high-quality code across front-end and back-end components. You will design reliable, reusable UI components, optimize performance and usability, and collaborate with designers, testers, developers, and product managers through the product life cycle, including projects in our Digital Health Innovation Lab. What You'll Do

• Review and refactor existing code into high-quality, reusable components and modules.
• Design reliable and reusable code across front-end and back-end layers.
• Develop highly efficient user interface components and ensure optimal performance and usability of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks, perform debugging and fixes, and drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with designers, testers, developers, and project/product managers throughout the product life cycle, including the Digital Health Innovation Lab.
• Maintain standards for reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
• Provide support to other software developers and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to both customer projects and internal projects as part of the team. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Prolific knowledge of React.js and related technologies/frameworks like TypeScript and Next.js.
• Strong analytical and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience reviewing and refactoring code, debugging, and optimizing performance.
• Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team across the product life cycle.
• Willingness to work on customer projects and internal initiatives including the Digital Health Innovation Lab.
• Backend knowledge with MVC frameworks (Laravel, Rails, Django, or others).
• Healthcare-related knowledge (HIPAA/FHIR/HL7 or other standards).
• Expertise in other front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React Native. Nice to Have
• Experience with Vue.js or React Native (front-end frameworks beyond React).
• Additional healthcare data exchange experience or knowledge of healthcare standards.
