Seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Lead Engineer to serve as the first technical hire, owning architecture decisions, product development, and initial shipping milestones across web and mobile applications.

Architect and build web and mobile applications.

Design and evolve scalable database schemas for e-commerce and content applications.
-
Set up CI/CD pipelines and serverless infrastructure using Vercel, AWS, and GCP.

Integrate AI services including OpenAI, function calling, and multimodal APIs.
-
Build modern, responsive user interfaces.
-
Work with the product team to turn concepts into production software.
-
Implement internationalisation (i18N).
-
Establish engineering standards and mentor future hires.

Section: Requirements
-
5+ years shipping production JavaScript/TypeScript.
-
Strong React/Next.js or similar experience.
-
Strong computer science fundamentals and modern web architecture knowledge.
-
Cloud infrastructure experience, including IaC, serverless functions, logging, and monitoring.
-
Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
-
Experience integrating third-party APIs, particularly LLM or generative media services.
-
Bias toward shipping, measuring, and rapid iteration.
