Full Stack Developer Intern

Talenture Group is hiring for a Full Stack Developer Intern in Lekki, Lagos State. This entry-level role is designed for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining company websites and web applications across front-end and back-end. The position offers the opportunity to work with production-level code, collaborate within an agile engineering environment, and potentially transition to full-time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and websites across front-end and back-end layers
• Collaborate with engineers to implement features and fix issues in production code
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and maintenance
• Contribute to code quality through testing and version control practices
• Work with the team to deliver value to real users in an agile setting

Requirements

• Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (including current NYSC corps members or those who have recently concluded NYSC)

• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React or Vue)

• Basic understanding of back-end concepts: server-side logic, APIs, databases

• Exposure to a back-end language or framework (Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, etc.)

• Understanding of version control, particularly Git/GitHub

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

• Nice to have

• Personal projects or a GitHub portfolio demonstrating full-stack work

• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

• Basic understanding of RESTful API design

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest)
