About the Role We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer for a full-time role to work on AuthoredUp's own apps — chrome extension, web platform, and internal tooling. This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days/week in the Belgrade office, and you will report to the CTO alongside one other mid-level developer; there is no outsourcing or client work and a strong emphasis on internal code. The stack is TypeScript, Node.js, React.js and PostgreSQL, with AI-enabled work welcome but reviewed, and communication in Serbian. What You'll Do
- Build and maintain full-stack features across frontend and backend using TypeScript, Node.js, React.js and PostgreSQL.
- Work directly on our own apps, including a Chrome extension, web platform, and internal tooling, with potential expansion to other in-house products.
- Design features from system design to frontend with minimal oversight and a focus on internal code over external frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO and a fellow developer; no management overhead.
- Ensure high-quality, well-structured code and end-to-end ownership of features.
- Contribute to AI-enabled features with proper review and governance. What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in TypeScript/Node.js/React.js/PostgreSQL or similar stack.
- Ability to work independently on full-stack features from system design to frontend with minimal oversight.
- Taste for design; no dedicated designers on call.
- Strong collaboration and communication in an office environment.
- Comfortable with AI-enabled code but not AI-crazy; able to reason about when and how to use AI.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid role and be present in the Belgrade office 2-3 days/week.
- Proficient in Serbian or willing to operate in a Serbian-speaking team. Nice to Have
- Experience with chrome extension development or internal tooling.
- Familiarity with integrating AI features or using AI-assisted development tools. Compensation & Benefits
