Job title: Full Stack Developer
Location: Centennial, Colorado (Hybrid)
Role Overview
This position is for a Full Stack Developer to support an internal platform used for managing data, device actions, reporting, and operational workflows. The role seeks a React-first full stack engineer who can work across the stack while maintaining strong Python capabilities. The position requires end-to-end ownership across UI, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD. Candidates must have experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools while maintaining strong coding fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain responsive, accessible front-end applications that expose data, device actions, reporting, and operational workflows.

Own user-facing features end-to-end, including UI, application state, REST API endpoints, and the data access layer.

Use AI-assisted development tooling to accelerate delivery, including scaffolding, implementation, refactoring, test generation, and documentation.

Take proofs of concept through to completion, from hypothesis and prototype to a hardened, supportable production feature.

Establish and evolve the front-end design system and component library.

Build and consume REST APIs and define clear front-end/back-end contracts.

Instrument applications for performance, error tracking, and usage analytics.

Write and maintain automated tests (unit, component, integration, end-to-end).

Package and deploy applications via Docker and Kubernetes using CI/CD pipelines.

Provide technical mentorship on front-end practices and the responsible use of AI development tooling.

Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of hands-on experience building production full stack web applications.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with modern front-end development (React, TypeScript/JavaScript).

Proven experience in Python development and REST API development.

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Amazon Q, with the ability to develop independently without AI assistance.

Experience with cloud services, with AWS being preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Django.

Experience establishing or scaling a design system or shared component library.

Experience with design tooling (Figma or equivalent) and AI-assisted design-to-code workflows.

Experience with internal tools or platform engineering.

Familiarity with data visualization or BI tools (e.g., Grafana) and workflow orchestration platforms (e.g., Apache Airflow).

Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical design reviews.

Experience owning applications through deployment and production support
