About the Role
Frontend Tech Lead for Riverside's FED Infra Team, responsible for steering frontend infrastructure and enabling rapid product development. You’ll set technical direction, ensure consistency, quality, and performance, and blend hands-on coding with mentorship to accelerate Riverside’s engineering velocity and resilience.
What You'll Do
- Set the technical direction for Riverside's frontend infrastructure (FED Infra Team), ensuring consistency, quality, and performance across platforms.
- Design scalable frontend solutions and architecture; drive system design decisions.
- Improve developer workflows and tooling; champion best practices, CI/CD, testing, and performance optimizations.
- Guide and mentor teams through complex architectural decisions; promote collaboration and cross-team alignment.
- Engage in hands-on coding when needed to deliver robust infrastructure and features.
- Manage the infrastructure for the user dashboard, a high-performance page, and facilitate the integration of micro-frontends by other teams.
- Maintain and evolve Riverside's centralized React component library.
What We're Looking For
- Proven frontend engineering leadership experience; track record shipping robust frontend infrastructure.
- Strong experience with frontend architecture, performance, scalability, and developer tooling.
- Proficiency with React and component libraries; familiarity with micro-frontends.
- Excellent mentorship, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on coding with strategic leadership.
Nice to Have
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures.
- Experience delivering performance-critical dashboards/pages.
- Knowledge of modern frontend tooling, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
