About this role
Section: About the Role Dot Labs is looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to help build and evolve our customer-facing web applications. You will develop responsive, high-quality interfaces primarily in React and TypeScript, working closely with Backend, Product, and Design to ship features end-to-end.
Section: Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces using React.
- Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into clean, reusable components.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and handle asynchronous data flows.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Optimize applications for performance, speed, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold frontend coding standards.
- Debug and resolve UI defects reported by QA or found in production.
- Collaborate with Backend, Product, and Design teams on feature delivery.
Section: Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript (hooks, component-based architecture).
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and working with asynchronous data.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, or similar).
- Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with Angular is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
