About the Role
Xpress Payment is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with 5–8 years of experience, preferably in payments or fintech, to build and maintain high-performance payment platforms, integrate backend services, and develop new features for merchants and beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders on platform re-architecture and new features.
- Integrate backend microservices and APIs while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Build online payment flows, bulk payout systems, and disbursement solutions.
- Develop merchant, user management, monitoring, and reporting dashboards.
- Optimise frontend assets and bundles using Webpack.
- Apply secure coding practices and ensure a smooth user experience.
- Conduct code reviews, design reusable components, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of frontend development experience, preferably in fintech or payments.
- Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS, and responsive design.
- Experience with React, Redux, Vue, Vuex/Pinia, and UI libraries such as Ant Design, Tailwind, or Bootstrap.
- Proven experience integrating APIs and building payment flows involving cards, bank accounts, USSD, QR, and bulk payouts.
- Experience developing monitoring, user management, and reporting dashboards.
- Knowledge of Webpack, Git, code reviews, and reusable component design.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
