Role Overview

As a Frontend Developer at Nanowattz, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web and mobile application interfaces that are clean, responsive, and user-friendly.

As a key Frontend Developer, You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of user-facing features for our core web and cross-platform mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers and product stakeholders to deliver clean, scalable, and responsive digital experiences that directly impact energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable applications for both responsive web and cross-platform mobile (iOS & Android).

• Expertly translate designs (Figma, etc.) into pixel-perfect, accessible, and production-ready UI components across both web and mobile.

• Integrate frontend services with REST APIs and handle real-time data streams to ensure a seamless, up-to-the-second user experience.

• Build and optimize dashboards, charts, and reports for energy usage data.

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles for both web and mobile platforms.

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

• Identify and fix bugs, and continuously improve app performance and user experience.

• Participate in code reviews, weekly planning and presentation meetings.

• Integrate APIs, third‑party libraries, and backend services for both web and mobile.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features across both platforms.

• Required Skills

• We are looking for a Front-end developer who is ready to take ownership of both our web and mobile presence.

• 2–4 years of demonstrated experience in professional frontend or web development.

• Deep proficiency in HTML, CSS (including modern techniques), and advanced JavaScript.

• Extensive experience with a modern web framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Strong experience working with REST APIs, modern state management techniques, and version control (Git).

• Demonstrated ability to build interfaces directly from design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) while applying strong UI/UX principles.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Excellent organizational skills as well as an ability to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously and to a deadline.

• Resilient and able to function under pressure and deliver high standards under tight deadlines.
