Job Description

The Front Desk Coordinator at the LMU Dental Clinic manages patient interactions and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include verifying patient financials and Medicaid status, processing check-ins and check-outs, and collecting fees from self-pay patients. The coordinator also assists with CareCredit financing, maintains accurate financial records, and updates patient accounts with a focus on posting and accuracy in EHR software. This role requires effective communication with dental staff and students, strong teamwork, and excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in Electronic Health Record management is essential. Top priorities include ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and maintaining accurate patient records.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience in a medical or dental office setting.
  • This position is sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting with occasional walking and standing.
  • Tasks may involve lifting no more than 25 pounds and occasionally carrying items like files or office supplies.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
