Locum Medical Officer | Clinical Research | Melbourne

Immediate Start | 4 Positions Available Due to Growth

An industry-leading clinical research organisation is seeking Locum Medical Officers to support the delivery of cutting-edge clinical trials in Melbourne.

This is an excellent opportunity for doctors looking to gain exposure to early-phase clinical research, work alongside experienced Principal Investigators, and play a key role in bringing innovative therapies to market, all while maintaining the flexibility of locum work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct participant medical assessments and physical examinations
• Obtain informed consent and determine study eligibility
• Monitor participant wellbeing and manage adverse events
• Support the safe delivery of clinical trials in accordance with GCP and study protocols
• Collaborate with research, pharmacy and operational teams to ensure high-quality study conduct

Requirements

• Full and unrestricted AHPRA registration

• Minimum PGY3

• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Desirable

• Clinical research or early-phase trial experience

• Current GCP certification

• ALS certification

• Recent acute clinical experience and cannulation skills
