About this role
Tomedes is seeking a skilled freelance Hebrew–English Translator to join our global network of language professionals. This is a fully remote role involving the translation of a wide range of content from Hebrew into English and/or English into Hebrew. You will work with international clients across industries, delivering accurate and culturally appropriate translations on a project basis.
Job Description:
- Translate documents, content, and materials between Hebrew and English with precision
- Maintain source meaning, tone, and context throughout all translations
- Proofread and edit translated content for grammar, consistency, and fluency
- Adapt terminology and style to suit target audiences and industries
- Meet project deadlines and communicate proactively with project managers
- Handle a variety of content types including legal, medical, technical, business, and general text
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in both Hebrew and English
- Minimum 1–3 years of professional translation experience
- Strong written communication skills in both languages
- Familiarity with translation tools (CAT tools, SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Specialization in legal, medical, or technical content is an advantage
