About the Role Tomedes is seeking an experienced Freelance English–Zotung Translator to join our global network of language professionals. This fully remote role involves translating diverse content between English and Zotung for international clients across various industries. You will work on a project basis, delivering accurate, culturally appropriate translations that meet high-quality standards. What You'll Do
- Translate documents, websites, marketing materials, and other content between English and Zotung with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Preserve the meaning, tone, and intent of source texts across all translation projects.
- Proofread and edit translated content for fluency, consistency, grammar, and terminology.
- Adapt translations to suit the target audience while maintaining linguistic and cultural accuracy.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery and exceptional quality.
- Translate a variety of content, including legal, business, technical, medical, marketing, educational, and general documents. What We're Looking For
- Native or near-native fluency in both English and Zotung.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of professional translation experience.
- Excellent written communication skills in both languages.
- Experience with CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple translation projects simultaneously.
- Specialization in legal, medical, technical, or business translation is a plus.
