About the Role Tomedes is seeking an experienced freelance Chinese to Russian interpreter to join our team and work on engaging projects remotely. In this role, you will translate from Chinese to Russian with emphasis on accuracy and cultural relevance, and collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines. What You'll Do
- Translate diverse documents from Chinese to Russian, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Meet project deadlines while delivering high-quality translations.
- Proofread and edit interpreted content to ensure precision and fluency.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and other team members. What We're Looking For
- Native Chinese speaker with proficiency in Russian (preferably Taiwan-based).
- Degree in interpreting, linguistics, language studies, or an equivalent qualification with significant interpreting training.
- Minimum of five years of full-time professional experience in interpreting or post-editing.
- Strong linguistic and cultural understanding.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Reliable internet access for remote work. Nice to Have
- Preference for Taiwan-based candidates.
