Control Shift Video is seeking a freelance 3D animator to support select projects requiring product visualization, simulations, or cinematic 3D storytelling.
This is a permanent job post on our site.
What You’ll Do
- Create high-quality 3D animations for video and motion projects
- Model, texture, light, and animate assets as needed
- Collaborate with designers, motion artists, and producers
- Deliver optimized renders for post-production
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, or similar tools
- Strong sense of lighting, movement, and composition
- Ability to explain technical ideas visually
- Dependable workflow and communication
How We Work
- Remote-first and flexible
- Project-based engagements with clear scopes and timelines
- Respectful collaboration — we treat freelancers like partners, not resources
- Clear feedback, fair rates, and no last-minute chaos whenever possible
Why Work With Us
- You’ll work on meaningful projects with real impact
- We value creativity, curiosity, and people who take pride in their craft
- We keep our word and expect the same in return
- You’ll be part of a trusted creative network we return to often
Curiosity Is One of Our Biggest Hiring Requirements
We're less interested in whether you've animated dragons or spaceships, and more interested in whether you're excited to learn how a robotic arm assembles a product, how a medical device improves a surgical procedure, or how an industrial compressor moves air through a facility.
Our artists spend just as much time asking questions as they do animating.
If you enjoy breaking down complicated topics and making them easy to understand, you'll probably love the work we do.
