What You'll Do
-
Own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and discovery through demos, business cases, pilots, procurement, security reviews, and contract negotiation.
-
Build and manage pipeline through email, LinkedIn, phone, events, and partner channels.
-
Navigate multi-stakeholder buying groups across energy procurement, plant operations, finance, IT, and executive teams.
-
Expand customer relationships into additional use cases and sites, and develop reference customers.
-
Create repeatable sales processes, including account plans, qualification standards, CRM practices, and forecasting.
-
Share customer and market insights with company leadership to inform pricing, product development, and target segments.
What We're Looking For
-
At least 3 years of B2B sales experience, including 2 or more years owning full-cycle deals.
-
Experience independently closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise or upper-mid-market deals, including six-figure annual contract values or comparable commercial complexity.
-
Demonstrated success building outbound pipeline and selling technical products with long sales cycles, ideally at an early-stage company without established sales playbooks.
-
Experience building repeatable sales processes and maintaining disciplined CRM, account planning, qualification, and forecasting practices.
-
Fluent spoken and written German and professional English.
-
Strong evidence of exceptional performance, such as a strong academic background, experience at a high-growth or established startup, or an equivalent achievement.
-
Experience in energy, industrial technology, climate tech, AI, or SaaS sales is valuable, as is familiarity with pilots and land-and-expand sales.
