About the Role
Join a Founding Engineer role in a brand-new Factorial spinoff, building the operational core of a new startup inside Factorial. You'll help define and ship AI-powered business management tooling, moving fast with real runway and 15,000+ customers behind you.
What You'll Do
- Help build and ship the core product for the spinoff, focusing on delivering value quickly.
- Work across the stack with Ruby on Rails on the backend and React or TypeScript on the frontend.
- Move fast, make good decisions with incomplete information, and build things people actually want to use.
- Collaborate in a small, scrappy team with day-zero involvement, leveraging Factorial's infrastructure and customer base.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Ruby on Rails experience on the backend.
- Solid React or TypeScript on the frontend.
- Passion for building and shipping, not just debating or documenting.
- Ability to move fast and decide with incomplete information.
- Interest in startups/spinoffs and a bias toward action.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a small, scrappy startup environment.
