About the Role
Join the AI product team as a founding engineer, owning an agent-based product from concept through production. You will shape product and technical decisions while building user-facing features and the backend systems that power the platform.
What You'll Do

Design and build user-facing features for an AI agent product, balancing usability with technical feasibility.

Develop and maintain backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure for production AI workloads.

Gather feedback, test product ideas, and ship improvements in rapid cycles.

Own systems end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to deployment and monitoring.

Collaborate with the founding team on product direction and technical strategy.
What We're Looking For

At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience and a record of shipping products.

Full-stack product engineering skills across frontend, backend, and production infrastructure.

Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered products, LLM applications, or agent workflows.

Experience owning systems from zero to one, ideally in a startup, founding-engineer, solo-builder, or early-stage environment.

Comfort working through ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information.
Location
This is a full-time, on-site role in San Francisco, California. Candidates should be able to work on-site in the Bay Area or relocate.
