Job title: Foundation Room Host/Hostess
About the Role The Foundation Room Host is responsible for meeting, greeting and seating all guests with a positive, friendly attitude. This role also serves as a general information source about the venue to guests and helps create a welcoming, efficient experience in the House of Blues Dallas foundation room.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner
- Manage the flow of guests entering the restaurant and those waiting for a table
- Gather guest details including name, party size, arrival times and any needs for children (when applicable)
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs to support satisfaction
- Direct guests to the appropriate waiting area and provide accurate wait times
- Lead guests to tables, present menus, and ensure seating is complete before leaving the table
- Promote shows, menu items and retail by placing marketing literature on dining tables
- Answer guest questions about the menu, music hall, and artists appearing at the House
- Manage foundation access lists, industry access and dinner reservation sheets, and passes as needed
- Handle guest lists for special events
