Job title: Foundation Room Door Host/Security

About the Role The Foundation Room Door Host/Security is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all staff, artists, vendors, and guests. This role also aims to create a positive, uplifting experience for diverse groups of individuals while upholding appearance and service standards in a high-end venue.

What You'll Do

  • Provide door security and access control for Foundation Room events, ensuring safety for staff, artists, vendors, and guests.
  • Monitor and address safety concerns, diffuse potentially volatile situations with tact and diplomacy, and report incidents to supervision as needed.
  • Welcome and recognize Foundation Members, Live Nation Executives, and VIPs to foster appreciation and patronage; assist with seating procedures and guest relations per high-end service standards.
  • Assist with guest relations, problem solving, and maintaining order in a fast-paced, loud environment.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service training and venue policies; maintain compliance with safety and security procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of venue operations and safety procedures to support a seamless guest experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Three years’ work experience in interacting with people in a positive environment.
  • Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work late hours.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, problem solving.
  • Skill in diplomacy, handling multiple tasks, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to diffuse potentially volatile situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
  • State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement / Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Dallas, TX.

Nice to Have

  • Bi-lingual.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Experience recognizing valid IDs.
  • Experience in a live music environment.
  • Self-defense training.
  • Experience using metal detection equipment.
