About this role
Foundation Room Bartender provides high-level service for Foundation Room members and VIP guests, serving beverages and food in a restaurant and music hall setting with a cheerful, professional demeanor. The role emphasizes upscale, guest-focused service, beverage knowledge, and adherence to safety and brand standards.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and acknowledge Foundation Room members, Live Nation Executives and VIPs to instill appreciation for their membership and patronage
- Impeccable knowledge in the steps of delivering service for up-scale dining
- Stay current and knowledgeable on the latest drink trends
- Understand the fundamentals of Mixology and ability to uphold our Beverage Culture
- Deep knowledge of how food, wine, beer, spirits and other beverages work in harmony with food selection
- The ability to suggest wines that will best complement particular foods off the food menu
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance alcohol awareness training and House of Blues alcohol policies
- Request proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of age
- Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor
- Cultivate regular guests and repeat business
- Successfully complete a pour test prior to eve
