Job title: Forward Error Correction Intern
About the Role Marvell Argentina is seeking candidates to design forward error correction (FEC) and DSP schemes for optical coherent transceivers. The FEC blocks are implemented in hardware (ASICs) using HDL, and reliability and validation are critical. This internship offers the chance to work on advanced FEC/DSP schemes with a talented team and to develop in a challenging environment.
What You'll Do
- Optical communication-oriented DSP/FEC algorithms design and validation.
- Design of digital implementation architectures.
- Software development for simulation of communications systems.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Candidate MUST be currently pursuing an Engineering (BS), MS, or PhD degree in Electronics, Computing, or Telecommunications.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of digital communication systems; good system modeling skills; good programming skills in C, C++, Python, Verilog, and SystemVerilog; good written and oral communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in error correcting schemes is not mandatory; talent and drive matter.
- Proven experience or skill in optimization of FEC/DSP is valued.
