About the Role Forklift Operator at Pero Family Farms in Hanover, PA, responsible for supporting production by supplying raw materials, removing finished goods, and maintaining clean work areas. This role ensures safe operation of powered equipment and adherence to safety policies in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
What You'll Do
- Supply production lines with raw product and other needed production material
- Remove finished product and perform general clean-up
- Remove trash and keep production lines stocked
- Follow safety policies and procedures, including safe operation of power equipment
- Work overtime as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of warehouse/stocking/forklift experience (or equivalent)
- Forklift certification is required
- Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with other team members
Nice to Have
- One plus year of prior warehouse experience is a plus
