Job title: Forklift Operator
DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. The role involves loading and unloading trailers, moving, stocking, and staging products, and case picking using powered equipment. It emphasizes safety and efficiency in a fast-paced team environment.
What You'll Do
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment (stand-up, sit-down, clamp) and electric pallet jacks.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of product are loaded.
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy; comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Verify load accuracy; check load count, stability, and product damage; report variances as necessary.
- Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power source as necessary.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Complete daily inspection of equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a Clamp truck.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience using an RF Scanner
- Minimum of 6 months using a sit-down forklift
- Minimum of 6 months using a stand-up forklift
- Bilingual
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20 per hour plus a $2 shift premium (Second Shift/4th Shift schedule as described in the posting)
