Job title: Forklift Operator
About the Role DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator to help move stock within our warehouse. This role combines equipment operation (primary stand-up forklifts) with material handling and loading/unloading duties to support production peaks. You will use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks as required by operation.
What You'll Do
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment (80% of shift).
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product are loaded.
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, and report variances as necessary.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 6 months experience operating stand-up material handling equipment.
- Preferred experience with Dock Stocker and Reach Truck.
- Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is a plus.
- Safety-conscious with the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good inventory accuracy and attention to detail.
