About the Role DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Forklift Operator on the 2nd shift in Clayton, IN. The role combines equipment operation with material handling and loading/unloading duties in a fast-paced, safety-focused warehouse. Depending on production, the position may require 30-90% equipment operation.
What You'll Do
- Move stock and materials within the warehouse using forklifts or other power equipment (stand-up, sit-down, clamp, and electric pallet jacks as applicable)
- Load and unload shipments of varying sizes; ensure exact numbers and types of product are loaded
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products
- Maintain inventory accuracy with proper records and reports
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards
- Verify load accuracy
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months experience operating stand-up material handling equipment
- Safe and efficient operation of stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck; preference for candidates with this experience
- Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order Picker (Cherry Picker), Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack
- Ability to work on 2nd shift and perform materials handling duties as needed
Nice to Have
- Experience operating additional material handling equipment beyond stand-up forklifts (e.g., Order Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20.50/hour with $1.00/hour shift differential
- Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday 4:30pm to 2:30am
