Job title: Forklift Operator
About the Role DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to help move stock within our warehouse. This role combines equipment operation with material handling and loading/unloading duties to support efficient warehouse throughput. The position requires safe operation of various forklift types and adherence to safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Move stock from one area to another within the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments of various sizes using forklifts and other power equipment.
- Operate stand-up, reach truck (dock stocker), sit-down, clamp forklifts, and electric pallet jacks as needed (30-90% depending on production peak times).
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products; pull and prepare product for shipment with exact quantities.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by keeping appropriate records and reports; comply with OSHA and MSDS standards; verify loads.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience operating stand-up material handling equipment.
- Preference for candidates with dock stocker and reach truck experience.
- Experience operating other material handling equipment such as order (Cherry) picker, sit-down, clamp, and electric pallet jack is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, safety-focused environment; weekend dayshift availability (Friday-Sunday 6:00am–6:00pm).
