Job title: Forklift Operator
About the Role Our Forklift Operators move stock within the warehouse, load and unload shipments, and support safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. You’ll use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move products as needed.
What You'll Do
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or other power equipment (80% of shift).
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring correct counts and types.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by keeping appropriate records and reports.
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards; inspect equipment daily; change batteries or LP tanks as needed.
- Keep the facility and equipment neat, clean, and orderly; assist in physical inventories; perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Six months warehouse experience (preferred); six months forklift operation experience (preferred).
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of forklift-training program within first 30 days of employment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
- Your own reliable transportation.
- Team oriented, safety-focused, detail-oriented with good record-keeping.
- Ability to operate various lifts (stand-up, sit-down, clamp) and pallet jacks.
- Basic understanding of OSHA/MSDS standards.
Nice to Have
- Forklift certification (if not already obtained) and/or prior certification.
- Prior related experience in logistics or supply chain.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $21.00 per hour, with $1.75 shift differential on Saturdays (total up to $22.75/hr on Saturdays).
