Job title: Forklift Operator
Forklift Operators move stock within the warehouse, loading, unloading, and staging products using forklifts and other power equipment. This on-site role supports DHL’s supply chain operations with a focus on safety and inventory accuracy.
What You'll Do
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment (80% of shift)
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of product are loaded
- Maintain appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
- Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power source as necessary
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Assist in physical inventories
- Complete daily inspection of equipment
- Work in a team-oriented, safety-focused environment and operate stand-up, sit-down, clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks as required
What We're Looking For
- At least 6 months of warehouse experience
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required; willing to train the right candidate
- Steady work history and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (tires) throughout shift
- Basic safety compliance and ability to follow OSHA/MSDS standards
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks is a plus
- Detail-oriented with good inventory accuracy
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20.25 per hour
