Job title: Forklift Operator
About the Role DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse using powered equipment. The role focuses on loading/unloading shipments, case picking, and ensuring inventory accuracy in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You will operate stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks as needed.
What You'll Do
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various forklifts or other power equipment (approximately 80% of shift)
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring exact quantities and types are loaded
- Maintain inventory accuracy by keeping records and reports
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
- Verify load accuracy; check load count, stability, and product damage; report variances as necessary
- Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources
- Maintain the facility's equipment and work areas in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Assist in physical inventories
- Complete daily equipment inspections
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a Crown Stand up forklift
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
Nice to Have
- Previous experience using an RF Scanner
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 per hour base pay with a $1.75 shift premium; total hourly rate (with premium) of $21.75
