About the Role Volt is immediately hiring 1st Shift Forklift Operators in Chino, CA for a temp-to-hire, full-time opportunity. You will operate Cherry Picker and Reach forklifts (up to 8 feet high) and will be tested on both on the first day. What You'll Do
- Operate Reach Forklift and Cherry Picker (8 feet high), with on-day testing on both forklifts.
- Perform warehouse functions such as picking, packing, loading, unloading, move, put-away, and staging using a forklift or other power equipment.
- Utilize an RF Scanner and use a computer at times for warehouse tasks.
- Follow all safety rules, perform housekeeping responsibilities, and conduct daily inspections on equipment.
- Check orders for accuracy and prepare products for shipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass a 7-year background screen, employment/education verifications, and a drug screen.
- Must have experience with both Cherry Picker & Reach Forklifts; will be tested on 1st day.
- Ability to read/write/speak English and be comfortable using a computer.
- RF Scanner experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have
- PACER forklift experience.
- Oracle, Coupa or Excel experience. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour.
