About the Role Volt is hiring a Forklift Material Handler in Elk Grove, CA to safely move materials and manage inbound/outbound shipments. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse tech to receive, store, count inventory, and prepare shipments while maintaining accurate records in our systems. Note: This is a full-time (1-year) opportunity. What You'll Do
- Safely transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Move inventory to and from loading docks, staging areas, and storage locations as needed
- Receive and process all incoming materials into the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels and identify discrepancies
- Utilize computer systems to track inventory, review reports, and update warehouse data
- Prepare and process outbound shipments using inventory tracking systems, handling all shipping and receiving functions
- Scan and label inventory accurately using RF scanners
- Maintain organization and efficiency within warehouse operations What We're Looking For
- Valid Driver’s License
- 1-2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to successfully complete forklift certification onsite
- Basic knowledge of data entry and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs

- Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour
